Option 1: Need more wine? Upgrade your tasting (€ 130 pp)
The regular visit & tasting includes usually 2 or 3 wines. For some more fees, some vineyards offer you to upgrade their tasting with either old vintages, vertical tasting or barrel tasting. Choose this option if you want to experience more wines during the visits. Option 2: You want less & be back earlier? Remove one visit & save money (€ -29 pp)Our tour includes three visits and tasting. However, two visits are usually enough to get a good idea of the wines of the Medoc, but if you want to spend less time visiting vineyards, it's possible to do away with one. The price will be reduced. Choose this option if you're interested. For each of our tours and packages there is a detailed section showing what is included or not included.
With The 1855 Classification was requested by Emperor Napoleon III to present the most famous Bordeaux wines at the Paris Universal
exhibition. To follow up on the Emperor's request, the Bordeaux brokers ranked the wines in 5 levels according to a chateau's reputation and trading price. * Places usualy visited during our tours Medoc region is famous for Cabernet Sauvignon that produces strong and full-boded red wines.
